  • Be 8 characters or longer

  • Contain one or more letters

Self Service Password Resets

While Logged In

At any time a user can reset their own password by clicking the Edit Account button in the top right of the screen.

While Not Logged In

Password resets via email are available on the login page. Click the “I need to reset my password” button below the login form to begin the process.

New Users and Administrator Initiated Password Resets

New users logging in for the first time and users logging in after having their password reset by an Administrator (typically a Campus Administrator) will be required to set a new password on first sign-in. The process is as follows:

  1. The Administrator will provide the temporary password to the new user or password requestor.

  2. The new user or password requestor will be able to login using standard login procedures one time with the temporary password that has been issued by the Administrator.

  3. On first login with temporary password, the new user or password requestor will be required to reset their password before being allowed to access their account.
