This document explains how to re-enroll students who previously completed partial coursework in a StrataTech program and who are eligible to continue on in their program. To support this, several fields have been added to the student Contacts in SalesForce which can be used to provide information about how much tuition and other costs remain for the student to pay along with . Using this information the enrollment system will set the student up with an enrollment agreement that includes the prorated costs and schedule.
Setting up a Student to Re-Enroll
In SalesForce start by setting the status of the student to “Re-Enroll.”
Next scroll down to the Re-Enroll details section and fill in all the values. Note that date and price fields are required but $0 is ok for any of the costs which the student does not need to pay.
Potential Error Messages
If any required re-entry fields are missing in Salesforce, the following message will be displayed, in the enrollment system, when the student tries to register or start a new application. In this case review the student’s information in Salesforce and make sure all of the fields in the re-entry section are filled in.
Filling out the application
At this point the student is ready to enroll as a re-entry student. If they had previously filled out an application in the enrollment system they can simply login to the enrollment system and begin a new application.
Important reminders:
The student must start a new application. The system will automatically detect that they are a “re-enroll”.
There is no need for the registration URL generated by SalesForce unless this is their first application in the online enrollment system.
